Transformers now this....a new live action Voltron movie is comming out. I swear I used to watch this show every day! The only cartoon left that I'm sure will soon be made is Thundercats. Here is the story.

Since Michael Bay has Transformers, maybe we can have Jerry Bruckheimer screw this one up!!!!11111

I think this will make an awesome movie if it isnt screwed up.

    Pearl Harbor
    by Team America

I miss you more then Michael Bay missed the mark
    When he made Pearl Harbor
I miss you more than that movie missed the point
And that’s an awful lot girl
And now, now you’ve gone away
And all I’m trying to say is
Pearl Harbor sucked, and I miss you

I need u like Ben Affleck needs acting school
He was terrible in that film
I need u like Cuba Gooding needed a bigger part
He’s way better than Ben Affleck
And now all I can think about is your smile
    and that ****ty movie too
Pearl Harbor sucked and I miss you

Why does Michael Bay get to keep on making movies?
    I guess Pearl Harbor sucked
Just a little bit more than I miss you

I guess since they're running out of super hero movies to make now they're going to 80's cartoons.

Man, I loved Voltron as a kid. If my memory serves me correctly I can guess how the movie is going to go. They are all going to fight the villain in their individual cat forms and get their butts kicked. Once they realize they can't beat him they will come together and become Voltron and kick his ass. I always wondered why they just didn't form Voltron from the very beginning.

Actually, there appears to be an epic autobots vs decipticons kind of war behind the scenes of Transformers right now and Michael Bay might be off the project. There was an article about it on AICN, but it has since been taken down.

Sounds like EVERY Power Ranger show back in the day (which is a rip off of Voltron).

Not that I watched that at all.

Loved Voltron as a kid and I too hope Thundercats is the next to hit the big screen.

Was Voltron always made out of kitties? I seem to remember some cars forming the big guy as well.

I heard recently that there were actually three different incarnations of Voltron. There was of course the lion version that is familiar to Americans, but the original Voltron was actually assembled of 15 different land, air and sea vehicles! There was also another known as Gladiator Voltron that was apparently an amalgamation of three robots (red, blue and black).

So, as lame as it's going to be for us to see Bay ruin our childhood memories, imagine what the Japanese are going to think!

I can't wait to get some good solid info on this. I've still haven't lost hope on the transformer's movie, as long as it stays true to the basic premise, it can't be all that bad

not to rain on anyone's parade, but I remember watching both as a kid, and to me, the spaceship voltron was much better

I think I actually preferred the 15 vehicle Voltron over the Lion-based Voltron. The pilots weren't quite as annoying IIRC. The lions had the little kid and the princess, and that is not your typical military unit.

Volton also waited until the end to pull out his sword in later episodes.

this is a movie that just HAS to be made. we simply don't have enough movies that are "remakes" of old movies or "regurgitations" of old TV shows.

The lion Voltron was a cheap imitation. The vehicle version was so much better.

    If there's one thing I don't mind seeing rehashed, it's 80's cartoons.
