He wouldn't fit our chemistry. Our team is fairly balanced right now where we don't really need a high flyer to do much. I agree that we have enough veterans on this squad and that we should be developing younger players.

We already have enough soft players (TMac, Yao, etc.) and a player who thinks he's always hot from the outside (TMac). Why do we need another?

Wow, this is a very bad idea, VC is one of the biggest losers in the NBA, it would waste time to say too much.

He has alot of talent and no one can deny that.

I was actually all for getting him until we pulled off that ridiculously one sided Artest trade. There's absolutely no need for VC now. Artest brings what VC would bring on offense and he brings it on D.

    lol..

Not only will it be ridiculously impossible for us to match VC's huge salary in this trade, what makes you think they'll want any of the non-core tablescraps we throw in (Head, Hayes?? lol..). The only thing that might be worth it for the Nets is a couple of first-round picks, but even at that it'll be low 1st rounders.

Also, the Nets already have cleared up enough salary for the 2010 free agent run, there's no need to unload him. The only reason would be if he starts acting up like in Toronto again..

Perhaps we can "persuade" him to accept a 3 year, $9 million deal. And by persuade, I mean kidnap all family members and hold them ransom until a deal is reached.

We need to trade for another PG, not another scorer.

At least this suggestion is an improvement over Marbury and Tinsley, but it's also less possible.

There is no way we can get Carter for Head, Harris, and Hayes. This is a stupid thread. How did this guy become a member?!

Least funny Einstain thread I've read. And I'm a big fan normally, but this was like Takashi Miike putting out a regular crappy action movie.
