According to ESPN [http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=250413010], Vin Baker was out last night with "DNP LIKE SYMPTOMS". I guess if the coach doesn't play you for enough consecutive games, it becomes a serious illness with its own set of symptoms. Poor taste...it's been a real problem for him. Even though he doesn't play, he seems like he is really trying to have a good attitude on the bench, during timeouts, etc.
It should be DNP FLU LIKE SYMPTOMS. I don't think this is a fake illness. It seems like the flu season has been pretty bad for the rockets this season. Mo Taylor had it (at least when he was first put on the IR) and Yao has caught it at least twice already.
I'm now used to seeing Moochie dressing in sharp suit and cheer like a fan by the bench. I hope to see Vin Baker play some though.
I'm not a big fan of making fun of a man for drinking problems, especially when he is trying to get help, but damn that was funny.
