I have a group presentation to do in my International Management and every group has been assigned a country to do a report on and my group pulled Vietnam. We are basically having to do a report on what people should expect when visiting the country and we also have to make a 10-20 page visitor's guide or manual on the country. I remember that some people on this board have either visited Vietnam or are actually from Vietnam. So, do you guys that have visited the country or are from there have any personal information that you would like to share?
You have two choices. Just cut and paste the entire Vietnam entry on wiki, or just buy the class and teacher off with some vietnamese sandwich's.
Ham, sometimes pate, or barbequed pork. Cucumber, pickled carrot, jalepeno, all on a baguette. Lots of mayo.
Damn 4 dollars for Lee's sandwich??? And I thought things were overpriced here in SoCal. I lived off those things when I was in college, can't beat a 2 dollar sandwich.
LEE Sandwiches is freaking the awesomeness of awesome dude!!!! One resource that i know of Vietnam is that Frank Lucas was an exporter for their heroin...
What are you looking to emphasize? An entire country/culture is pretty broad... - Demographics - Sites of interest - Cuisine - History - Diaspora - Cultural norms - Language - Economy/Development -Traditions etc... I am Vietnamese, lived in Hanoi last year and have traveled through the region, if that helps.
The on in downtown is pretty good. I can write a 20 page essay about how mouthwatering and delicious the pho restaurant on Bellaire/Bell Park. Super sized bowl for 8 bux.
