Thanks R2K, once again, you come through. I was at this game, so, I am going to watch it again from another point of view.

    Welll...

Yao DID charge him...but if you listen to what the comentators(Bill and Van) are talking about as they reshow the play....they are talking about how it should have never even gone that far since Collins had fouled him repeatedly prior to the charge.

    arno......

you can get virii from many places...but as long as you are careful by always running a virus scanner...you have nothing to fear from getting one from torrents.

especially the game files...I personally guarantee that the video files are virus free.....

now....here is alink to azureus, which imo is the easiest client.
    http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=84122

some dont like that it runs in Java...and some claim it slows their computers down...so if your machine is slow, you mi8ght want to use a less featured one.

    bitcomet is a popular one

    or bittornado

This is probably technically a offensive foul, IMO. However, Yao is a superstar that had already been called for 2 crappy offensive fouls. You almost never call that foul on a guy. Would they have called that foul on Shaq? Never.

I think it is a no call at best or a foul on Vince Carter. Watch at the end of the play he pushes Yao in the chest to try to keep him from dunking.

Well it is dislodging using the shoulders so yes it is a foul. It was a bit obvious but if they are gonna call that they should call the friggin fouls collins gives yao before yao does that. I'm sure yao did that because he thought the refs were letting the contact go so it's time for him to fight fire with fire. Another case of ref's inconsistencies.

Man.. I read the recap about how Sura was on fire, but that didn't do him justice. Fall-away 3-pointer... blocks.. steals... teacity on defense.... The guy was just a monster.

He was playing very McGrady-ish. If he keeps this up, we're gonna have to start calling him B-Mac.

He should dislodge using a motion using his hips up to his shoulders. It's less noticable when you dislodge that way. He's got a huge foundation, but he didn't use it in that play.

Not really. It is that if the referee wants to screw you up, it is pretty obvious to do so.

By the way, no wonder NBA players can't adjust to the international rules. Just wonder how difficult it is going to be for NBA players to win the world tournament and the Olympics with a different set of rules.

Yao flops. What flopping star player in the league gets calls? The only guy I remember was Karl Malone, but Karl had a good jumpshot so he didn't have to create contact in order to get a bucket.

When a big man flops, it's a slap in the face of the ref and the fans.

What ref respects a big man flopping?

Guys who get calls in the league play the game and don't try to test the refs with ludicrous flops. When was the last time TMac flopped?

what are u talking about dude....karl malone didn't have a jumpshot early in his career and he would just bulldoze his way to the basket, and if i can remember whenever he'd drive for a layup he'd kick out his leg to make contact

    the rules were different then...

Yao needs to figger out how to best make himself effective within the structure of how the rules are called.

I feel for him since the rules seem to change with ref to ref and game to game...but he just needs to continue playing his way...stay aggrerssive and eventually the refs will have to adjust themselves to him. thats is what the star treatement is all about...

    thanks R2K.
    one more question.
i downloaded bitcomet. But this is basically a program that "unpacks" bittorrent files. am i right? this is not like kazaa were i search on and download from other pc's? and upload to other pc's? is this correct? so if i just download rocket games from you, i do not get a virus:D:D

(i'm so worried about a virus because me and my girlfriend have alot of (for us) importent files. and she wil kill me if i get alot of virusses):D

    well.....not technically.

Ill try to explain it....a torrent is basically a file, that when used with a bittorrent client, tells your computer where to find the tracker, which is a program hosted on a remote server, that tells your computer who has the file you want.

then the tracker connects you to many different people that will start uploading pieces of the file to you while at the same time you start uploading the pieces you have to others that need them.

it is impossible for them to mess with the contents of the file, therefor, as long as the original file is virus free, you wont get one from that.

I cant speak for anyone else's files...but like I said, as long as you are only downloading the games that you find at this place you should be as safe as possible without keeping a virus scanner online.....but please...if you dont have a virus scanner already, get one. It is absolutely essential to a safe computing experience.
