Says I need a codec to play in Windows media player. Also tried quick time player and winamp player. What codec might i need.
I reinstalled Divx and it still won't play.... I have divx5.0 installed. http://www.divxmovies.com/codec/
I use DivX and I can play the first 10 seconds of the clip, and then it restarts again, even though it says the clip is 10min update: i just tried using realplayer and same thing happened. however it doesn't restart, it just stops showing stuff at the 10sec mark even thought the little ball at the bottom is still moving to the right
It's only playing the first 10 seconds of the video. It's not a codec problem because it is playing the beginning, but it just cuts off after 10 seconds. Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see it.
Ok, this stupid Divx converter is pissing me off, it plays fine on my computer and laptop for whatever reasons. Let me just try to encode it again and see what happens. Sorry about that.
No prob...obviously you are using some encoder with out knowing about it. I've done it before when I first started capturing videos. The reason it works on your pc is that you have the necesary codec installed on your computer. There are many codecs out there....
Ya thats because the video wasn't playing. He may be trying to encode and re-do it. so give him some time.
