I think the only thing that is in development is the KOTOR MMO and it's being developed in Austin I believe. The plot thickens on the PS3 pirce drop rumor. A guy claims be bought this PS3 for 299 at Best Buy and posted this receipt: White retailers do internal promotions, most seem to keep the same retail price and add a bunch of stuff for a bundle and the ones that are cheaper are never this cheap. Most likely a fake though. In addition, a supposed leaked memo from Best Buy revealed that the 80 gig SKU is being discontinued. http://blog.wired.com/games/2008/01/rumor-80-gb-pla.html Again, take this with a huge grain of salt. Even if this is true it doesn't neccesarily link with a price drop. I suppose if they debut the white PS3 with a bigger hard drive and start it at 399, they can move the 40 gig to 299. All seems like mostly hype. That's unfortunate. It was really hard for me to sit through the Sonic game on the Dreamcast because of the dialog and to a lesser degree, also in FF10
so i guess the character you play is Dante's little brother? he acts like a bratty kid. don't judge the game for that reason, the graphics and art are really good. i especially like the sound. you can hear explosions in the rear speakers.
I'm not too surprised that the 80GB SKU is being discontinued (or that it appears that way anyway). I figured they would just take out MotorStorm or something like that though. Given the circumstances, maybe it is better for Sony to focus on one SKU (assuming the white SKU is just the 40GB in white). They could replace it with a new higher-end SKU (EX:bigger HDD), although I'm not sure if there would be much point right now. There's probably not enough to take advantage of that space...yet. Maybe this will increase their efforts on getting a pure-software solution for PS2 BC...although I guess their progress in this area may have even led to the decision to discontinue the 80GB at this time. an ico/colossus game on ps3 would be mindblowing. even a straight port of colossus with improved graphics would be enough to make me buy a ps3.
I didn't know there was an Ico 2. I thought Shadows of the Colossus had loose ties to Ico and wasn't considered a sequel.
According to Wikipedia and the creator of Ico/SOTC, SOTC is a prequel to Ico. That, and it is easier to type Ico 3 than "new game from the guys who brought you Ico and Shadow of the Colossus," or something like that.
When is APB coming out? Game has a similar premise to GTA. It's been developed by the creator of GTA. I've seen screenshots but no definitive release date. This game should definitly rock.
I played it and got his health down about 25 percent . I just kept jumping and hitting him in his dome . It was taking too long so I quit , lol . The new "Burnout Paradise" is pretty damn fun IMO .
i finally beat the dude. i do the same thing you do, but when he's down, you do that devil throw thing on him, takes off more damage. yeah it takes a long time.
I haven't really seen anything new from this game since maybe around the time Crackdown was released (and at the time, all I saw was that the team shifted resources to ABP). The only target date they've given was 2008, although since that was a while back and this is such an ambitious project, I wouldn't doubt it if it moved to 2009 (or later?). Sounds like an interesting concept (GTA MMO?), although there really isn't enough of the game out there to really know whether it will be good or not. If Microsoft secured it as an exclusive (PC/360), I suppose we could see it at GDC (assuming it is still a 2008 release).
Most of the Surfer Girl rumors in the last week or so: Not really a rumor, but... I haven't kept up with her posts in the comments sections. Also, it seems like some other blogs have started up, posting rumors. They might be related, although I don't really know enough about them to really care at this point. I think I'll just stick to one blog with crazy rumors.
Not that surprising, but apparently the PS2 version of Twisted Metal: Head On has a special code that confirms a PS3 version of Twisted Metal. David Jaffe said something about their next project not being ready until late 2009 at the earliest though, so it will probably be a while.

I wouldn't really have high hopes, especially if Wing Commander isn't the epic space game. This is EA we're talking about. I'd love to be wrong though. Fire Emblem. It is a bit of a niche title (strategy game with some RPG elements), but it probably offers 50-60 hrs (or more) of deep gameplay. More rumors:
