The next time you see a traffic jam and wonder "wth is causing this?", consider this... (the look on the guy's face at 1:15 as he's jamming to the music is hilarious) <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/-pezCjCR6IU&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/-pezCjCR6IU&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
lmao.... I've never seen that before. I still don't get what that idiot in that toyota pick up is doing...
Ya whats up with that guys face? If I had a gun in that situation I would have definitely had to have used it. At the very least just nudge that one car on its side.
I made it to 1:15 with the troll face until I couldn't take it anymore and stopped the clip. was hoping for the pickup to slam into the SUV, flipping both cars, ending in a violent burst of flames for both. Disappointed.
lol me too.. i was hoping for someone to get pissed off or something and just slam that car into the side.. otherwise the video was a bit pointless..
This is called "two wheeling," at least among some of the kids I knew when I lived in the Middle East (not Dubai, but close by). I think the way to do it is to drive in a circle really fast, and if you do it fast enough, the SUV will tilt (or apparently, you can simply swirve violently enough to make the care get on 2 wheels like in this video). If you are skilled enough, you can drive on the two wheels for a while. Popular past time among Arab teenagers in the Gulf countries.. Someone showed me a video of themselves two wheeling for 20+ minutes. They can do the initial "circling" in many of the roundabouts that are there. Some model SUVs are better than others for this trick due to the way the weight is distributed. I believe some earlier model Nissans are good for this and are prized. Not the best thing for the vehicle, but apparently a lot of fun.
At least there weren't dudes in sandals sliding on the pavement holding on to their car doors. Really though, this type of behavior is prevalent in the lawless middle eastern society of the 21st century.
Half of Dubai drivers are spoiled rich 14 year old boys who can barely see over the dash board but the daddy bought them a huge expensive SUV anyways while jamming to Jay-Z
It would be pretty interesting to see an old Indian guy listening to Jay-Z while buying a car for his kid.
LOL...yeah I meant the kids are jamming to Jay-Z or prolly Justin Beiber now in their SUV's. Seriously though, its ridiculous young kids drive over there without a license. 99% of them are of course Emiratis. I do have a distant cousin over there who I stayed with once. Came home one day and his day was screaming at him about racking up about $8000 in traffic tickets that year. Just mailed to you for running red lights I suppose. The cousin's response was "come on dad, its not that bad" and they pretty much left it at that.
It you watch from about 2:08-2:20 you can see how that SUV gets on 2 wheels. But man, they took swangin and bangin to a whole new level in Dubai!
I have a friend working in Dubai rite now and he says he always sees rich teenagers in maseratis and ferraris drifting and racing on the freeways.
