I need to take two cats for exams and shots and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good vet for cats inside the Loop. We used to take them to the Rice Animal Hospital, but we weren't very satisfied with the care. I searched around and found: http://www.houstoncathospital.net/index.html http://www.catdoctors.cc/index.html http://www.catcarevet.com/html/ Anybody have any experience with the above vets or could recommend a place?
I don't mean to derail the thread before it even gets started but this made me think of somethin' else... A kitten that my family adopted about five months ago from off the street looks like its gonna have to be put down... it hasn't been eating and throws up like atleast once a day. The vet thought it was "Inflamed Bowel Disease" but the medicine hasn't had any effect, so now he's thinking it's Cancer of the small intestine... It used to run around all over the place gettin' into all kinds trouble, but now it just kind of lays around lookin' all sad... I'm gonna miss that lil thing, it had quite the personality...
I've used Sunset Blvd Animal Clinic a few times and have had good experiences there. Sunset Blvd Animal Clinic 2525 Sunset Blvd. Houston, TX 77005 713-526-5881
I've been using Montrose Vet Clinic for several years and they are terrific. I highly recommend them.
Thanks for the info ya'll, I'm going to check those places out. DanzelKun: Sorry to hear about ur kitty. Cancer, especially while still a kitten, how awful!
I use Memorial Cat Hospital (Catdoctors.cc) and highly recommend them. The deal only with cats. They also do boarding which I take advantage of whenever I go out of town and I feel good using them.
