I know this has probably been discussed already, but I am very encouraged by what I see so far. IMO, the only reason we are not 4-0 is because of free throws. Just three more made free throws in all the games and we would have not needed two overtimes, in two games to start the season. Most definitely would have be KG and co. and Moochies heroics would not have been required in game four. Simply, there is no excuse for the Rockets to be shooting 71% from the FT line. This time, IMO, should be somewhere between 78%-81%.

I am sure that many will hail that it shouldn't come down to a few FT's. And for the most part, you would be correct. I know that once Rice is hitting and this team really jells, we will be tough to beat. But on those off nights, FT's are crucial. All in all, I give the Rockets a solid A. Once everything is clicking on all cyclinders, they will be A++

    Whoa! Scary.

I agree.. The Rox could have been 4-0 with a stronger free throw performance, and not only that but a stronger field goal range too. Too many times, I see them rushing shots when they should pass the ball around and then just pop it in. We have a better team than most people realize. But I think it has alot to do with the comfort level, once the Rockets gets their comfort level going then I think we will be a team to reckon with. No one will want to play us. Already teams, who have played us this year consider us dangerous, but wait - we are just warming up! Willis just got here, Mooch is gettin his groove, Rice is lookin for his touch, and before you know it it will be SMACKDOWN ROCKETBALL!

I;m excited with the start, there is a lot of hard work ahead.Big Kev has really helped.Kenny gave a very good performance against the Suns.EG will get better as the season goes along,I hope T-Mo will be able to play himself into the rotation.Cato is trying to help.If Rice gets going and no one gets injured,we might be able to make the playoffs, but we have to take one game at a time.

If there were a BCS for basketball we'd be ranked very low because of strength of schedule. We've beaten a bunch of losers like Atlanta, LAC, and Denver. Phoenix sucks this year. To the Rockets' credit, we have pulled out some close ones, but the real test is coming later this week. I hear we play Philly then the Lakers later this week.

If we can hang with SA, Philly, Sacto, and the Lakers then I'll be convinced that we're much improved from last year's team.

I agree. These next games coming up are gonna get my blood to pumping. These are the games I'll enjoy watching most of all since its these types of teams we have to beat to gain our respect this season.

I will take these wins. They give this team confidence to play LA, SA and Sacto. Last year we lost to the Clippers and other mediocre teams. This is and excellent start.

I am glad there's no more isolated offense [throw it into Hakeem --- stand and wait]. The Rocket's are fun to watch now.
