Well, yeah, I left it out but we would have to trade Nomar if we got A-Rod. I know that Kaz was quite the stud in the Japanese Leagues, but I guess I am too cautious as I feel that he is too much of an unknown to be successful in the majors compared to a Rich Aurilia. Brown, once again, makes too much money - you realize that he is like due 15 million and getting him pushes the Sox over the Luxury Tax Threshold and also probably kills any chance of getting Foulke??
Yeah maybe Brown isn't worth that much money. But what is your line on Foulke? His save rate was amazing last year but the concept of the finesse closer makes me uncomfortable, I mean it's just not as surefire as a power closer, which I think Williamson might have the stuff to become. On ESPN right now they're saying that Rangers are open to the Manny - A-Rod swap. Epstein should really look into getting Kaz Matsui for the infield. I don't really like seeing Damian Jackson or Freddy Sanchez play. Millar, Matsui, A-Rod, and Mueller makes a great defensive AND offensive infield.
