If either of you live in CHL state, you shouldn't go out much. CHL holders are a significant portion of society now, and you run into them every day.

 

Amending the constitution is a process provided by law. If you amend the constitution, the law changes. Therefore, your objection is not logically valid.

 

I think the real debate here is a fundamental one of self defense. People do not wish to fight back for some reason.

 

Yes, but if the country gets stirred up enough where the silent majority force their elected officials to make that amendment, it will happen.

Also while you are looking that up find some stats to backup that people with CHL's commit more violent crimes than people without them.

 

Well, either that, or they don't want to have a higher risk of being a victim of random crime that is more likely to occur when there are more guns everywhere. Crazy that people might like to stay alive!

I mean, I'd go on, but your posts pretty much are all self-explanitory.

 

Everything. How many of these college kids will have roommates etc? Will these guns start showing up more at parties? It's not as simple as "I have a gun and you don't". I don't care how many classes a person has or how great of a shot he is. The complexities are immeasurable. The chaos theory comes to mind (unpredictability in complex systems).

 

Which one of these implies im giving out guns? I must have missed it. I am talking about allowing people who have guns and a CHL to carry them.
