    They just beat Phoenix 108-104...

Is this team really going to be good this year?

I don't know anything about their team, but they beat Us and now the Suns.

    Pretty Impressive

They were down by a bunch in the 2nd half and came back... I doubt they'll run the table but 45-50 wins from them seem pretty likely.

    they are talented no doubt
but also injury prone so I wouldn't bet on them- espec. boozer and ak47
albeit being a serious playoff contender

They have had a good team for a couple of years now, but injuries always got in the way.

They have very good talent, and they have Jerry Sloan for a coach...so yeah, I would worry about them.

It all depends on the health of their main players. Same story as the past few years. I think that they can easily make the playoffs, but don't see them doing a whole lot of damage over a 7 game series. If they get the right draw, they could potentially make the second round.

assuming everyone is healthy..their front court is pretty impressive..okur/AK/Boozer..technically ours is better..but they can give a lot of teams match up problems by the way they spread the court out

yeah they would've been pretty good last year but so many of their key players were out with injuries throught the year. this year deron williams has a year of experience under his belt.

They are so far a above par NBA team

with vets like D fisher leading the second team, there is no doubt that Jazz will be one of the suprises this season.

They even benched gordan in the season opener. This proves their bench is decent and their starters can play long minutes

yes as everybody is saying injury is the main factor that will determine this team's fate

Yeah, them beating the Suns makes me feel slightly more ok about them beating us.

A lot of teams look better in the west Utah being one of them, a healthy Boozer is the main reason for their improvement. He looks like he's back 100%,so the Jazz will probably contend the whole year. The Lakers look improved too, Bynum and a reawakened Lamar Odom and Kobe make the Lakers a sleeper this year. Its going to be tougher in the west this year, you have all the known teams like the Mavs, Spurs, Suns and now all the sleepers.

yes, the jazz are a serious team this year. okur, ak-47, and boozer make up one of the most formidable front lines in the league right now. in addition, if the lakers keep playing the way they do, then we are in trouble. the jazz and lakers definitely have to chance to take some playoff spots. if the rockets don't start to pick it up and click together soon, we are in some trouble.

Don't worry, come playoff time.. everyone will start thinking about the Rockets.. and the j*zz will be dealt with.

Not to mention the hornets. Every team in the west has a chance to go to the playoffs except portland. Here is my break down.

    Gimme's

    San Antonio
    Dallas
    Phoenix

    Probables

    Clippers
    Houston
    Lakers

    Everyone else has a chance.

Yeah Cleveland Scares me too. People were saying how they have a chance to go to the finals and i didn't believe that but i saw them play and maybe they do.

Last night, Tom Tolbert said Utah has a chance to go to the number 4 seed in the WC. :D

I think if ak-47 and boozer stay healthy, they'll win the division by 6 games. They have talent, they're tough and they have people that can defend their position, plus they have a great coach with a great system.
