I was mad at Taaffe for touching that lateral OOBs. But a punt return TD is better offense than what we've put on the field. Taaffe with good foresight.

So lucky they didn't call that "block in the back" on UT on that return

Anyone here think Holly Rowe was on to something when she said OU being on the sunny sideline the entire game would eventually affect them?

    Hope remains alive for UT.

    LOL

It's never mattered before in this series/game. Or in any other game/series I've ever heard about.

The Texas defense has very good the last 2 seasons. The offense needs to take a step for us to be legit contenders. Kind of ironic considering Sark is regarded as an offensive genius and quarterback whisperer. The offense really hasn't been great even with guys like Bijan and Worthy

That's more like it. A win over OU is always good.

To be fair, the game has been at 11am for much of the recent history, and there's no sunny side in that case. And it's not normally 90+ degrees in mid-October for this game I don't think.

At UT home games, the visitor side is intentionally on the sunny side for afternoon games. I believe that's the case at other stadiums too, though not sure.

OU got outplayed the whole second half, way before UT got the shade. No doubt it's more advantageous to rest in the shade, but that wasn't what lost OU the game.

They should alternate going forward, though. I agree that it's not fair for one team to always get the shady side now that it's an afternoon start.

I think it's a home-away thing and they do alternate each year, if I understand correctly.
