Yay, obnoxious 80 year old billionaires inviting a beatdown from the hubris fairy. Isn't this kind of part of the problem?

Ok, I just pulled up Schedule H in that bankruptcy where Beltway 8 Associates LP d/b/a Watermarke Apartments had to list its co-debtors.

According to that document which was providing information under penalty of perjury at that time....Joseph Spinosa is the ONLY co-debtor listed...and he's listed with respect to a debt owed to FST Watermarke, LLC...the secured creditor.

So...according to that pleading...Saban was NOT a co-debtor on the obligation owed to FST Watermarke.

I have no idea if that's changed now. This document was filed as of January 25, 2011.

I'm just thinking that publicly affecting the Ted DiBiase "everybody has a price" million dollar man approach maybe isn't the best way to attract Saban (or whomever)

I agree with this. Foghorn Leghorn should really be smarter than this.

you mean the same SWTSTCSM that graciously provided Rice with the coach of its first conference winning team in 50+ years?

i guess they don't teach manners in river oaks (apartments).

Just heard from my friend Bob Sacamano who's the CPA for a major booster at UT.

Apparently Saban is waiting to see if Nolan Ryan runs against Kinky Friedman for Agriculture Commissioner (evidence here).

Saban's thinking is that if Nolan doesn't run against Kinky, then Kinky is assured the victory and will use the platform to legalize mar1juana use in the state of Texas. Saban hopes to use this as a tool to recruit not just state-wide, not just nation-wide, but globally - including a direct pipeline to the currently untapped talent in Amsterdam. No 18 year old wants to come over to the US from Amsterdam but Austin is similar, filled with vagabonds and the unclean, and Saban believes legalization will change the landscape completely.

The real kicker, Sacamano is already hard at work setting up a ponzi scheme designed to funnel Saban's pending UT money back into the university. Well, UT gets 80% and the rest will fund a terrorist organization via Rusty Shackleford (of Disney), a famous Texas-tough arms dealer known for his quirky wardrobe.

Bama's hopes are solely in the hands of Nolan Ryan and bunch of small town white folk.

More inside sources. This is step #1 in the process, so hopefully this does happen so we can move on to the fun step of announcing a new coach.

    http://houston.cbslocal.com/2013/12/12/source-mack-brown-to-resign-friday/#.UqoCNMl14Pg.twitter

SportsRadio 610 has learned that on Friday morning Mack Brown will announce his resignation as University of Texas head football coach after 16 seasons.

A source says Brown will tell his players on Thursday before making the official announcement. It is not known if Brown will coach the team in the Valero Alamo Bowl on December 30.

SportsRadio 610 reported earlier on Thursday that the Texas Board of Regents would vote to fire Brown when it meets Thursday if he wouldn’t resign. The 62-year old had been prepared to resign earlier this week, but became angered when reports leaked before he had the chance to tell his players and coaches.

Late Thursday morning, Orangebloods.com reported that UT President Bill Powers would get a vote of confidence from the school’s Board of Regents; SportsRadio 610 has been told throughout the week that the future of his job would be tied to his ability to get Brown to step aside.

Texas has its football banquet on Friday and wanted Brown to resign by then so it could use the night to celebrate him as well as the Texas seniors.

apparently Saban is looking at Chad Morris or Tom Herman for OC, though Morris has a huge buyout, but if Saban wants him UT will be willing to pay it. Both have Texas ties, but I would prefer Morris, who would do a lot for QB development. Looks like Saban wants to introduce the spread, if this information is accurate

That's so sad. Hope Mack coaches somewhere else so he can retire on his own terms. Not sure if he feels like he is too old to do it or if he can cash in on an ESPN gig. Didn't really work out for Tommy T though.

So this a done deal pretty much?

Two articles on espn front page both seem to indicate saban is staying at Alabama.

Mccaron saying he is staying and Mack brown saying nothing has changed.

unrelated, but we completely wasted Swoopes redshirt.

I can't believe they couldn't even put that guy in for some wild cat plays against baylor.

I mean we were running the damn ball on 1st and 2nd downs anyways.
    that's some crap coaching decision.
