I'm not watching the game, but Richard Jefferson's containment of Ginobli must have failed because Ginobli is looking like the MVP. Spurs are darn good. They got Brent Barry, and they have a superstar in the making in Ginobli.
I have a question...is the defense of international players underrated? I mean, everyone seems to keep chastising the international players in the NBA for their lack of defense...but apparently, the international teams are defending the US pretty well, at least judging by the shooting % of the US players?
I think it has a lot more to do with the fact that none of the players on our team are great shooters. You put Ray Allen on that team and it's a whole different game.
