Manu drives better in the NBA than the Olympics imo mainly b/c of the FIBA rules and the trapezoid lane. If Manu were to get by Kobe, it would be mainly for driving and kicking. Kobe has been getting burned. I like Kobe and I think he has great defensive talent, but everyone gets burned, and Kobe has been playing very inconsistent defense. I think it's mainly being over anxious or over-hyped or something...he's overplaying so many times. He's not getting burned staying back and playing good low proper D...it's because he's trying too hard to not even let the ball handler move, which is just a mental mistake. Kobe even said as much in the last half-time interview...talked about playing smart D, staying low and not being over-aggressive. Defense is part talent, brains, execution, and luck. Even if you do everything right, you'll still get burned by an elite player here and there. It happens to everybody. Kobe's talent to keep someone from driving is 2nd to none. Let's hope he plays smart and executes today. Manu is smart and skilled enough to take advantage of an over-aggressive Kobe.
Is it USA or NBC? NBC says Today show and USA says Olypmics (Basketball... along with other sports). I have to record this game. Not sure what to do. USA better kill Argentina!!! Come on guys!

If you go to nbcolympics.com the main page has the window that changes between 5-6 headlines (like NBA.com). The first on is USA vs. Argentina. It says 10:15am Eastern time on USA. That's what I'm going by.
You're right. Then I just checked tvguide.com/listings and it says basektball will be on both USA and NBC. Maybe it's both? Not a big deal either way for most of us.
Anybody else watching Spain vs. Lithuania? Some of the fouls the Lithuanians are getting away with are ridiculous. That kept them in the game until the late 3 point barrage. They've also successfully pulled the chair on Pau 2 or 3 times.
Pau is playing like a soft sissy. If they don't get tired, Lithuania has a chance to pull this one out. Spain is clearly more talented but the physicality has thrown them off their game. Jasikevicius and his facial contortions cracks me up. One of the other guys on Lithuania looks just like AK47 except he has muscles.
Is nobody else watching this great game? Pau finally playing like a man with the jam and 1 to tie it and then Spain losing their mind and giving up a 4 point play to close the 3rd quarter.

Lithuania is faltering and going to pieces. They gave it their best shot but talent will prevail. If bodies keep hitting the floor at this rate somebody's gonna break a bone.
Lithuania run out of gas! They are a very physical team. Spain is a more talented team and deserves this win!
