I live in the Washington DC area and it's Live over here. Sucks to be y'all. That is very stupid of NBC to tape delay it every where else. Scola is looking good. USA was on fire early on from 3pt land, but now they can't hit. After Argentina went to zone, USA hit like their first two treys and then missed like their next 10. Argentina cut their deficit from close to 30 done to around 20 because USA kept missing treys and then fouling Argentina with overaggressive loose-ball fouls and hacks. Then it went from 20 to around 10 because USA stopped fouling but Scola started dominating the low post. (Go Scola) Kobe hit a tough pull up 3 and then Melo got 3fts from a phantom foul. Otherwise it would be a 3pt game at half. USA needs to attack and be more crisp with against Argentina's zone, for the zone doesn't even look that tight. It's just very saggy and daring USA to shoot, and USA is obliging...I think Doug Collins said 20 out of the 30 shots by Team USA are from 3pt land. Fortunately Argentina has been sending Carmelo and Bosh to the FT line, which helps a lot because those guys aren't the problem FT shooters.
i REALLY hope argentina pull this one thru, but after a miraculous comeback with manu in the last quarter to annihilate kobe + lebron, nocioni needs a few solid man blocks like he did on kobe hahaha, i dunno i liked team usa until they beat australia (i knew it was ineveitable but yeh ) !!! GO ARGENTINA thats what USA get for having no LEGIT inside men, their outside shot is streaky and yeah scola and that other dude who are legit inside scorers are gonna keep punishing that. at least its a good game to watch
yea the refs are horrible even if USA win, it's a shame. No Ginobili + help from refs. Scola is owning
