The Blue/White game was awesome, Portland should be kicking themselves in the ass right about now. Durant is gonna be a monster.

No. Seattle fans should be kicking the Sonics ownership. Its clear Durant is a much better player when surrounded by superior talent. He isnt ready to carry the Sonics. With Lewis and Allen on the roster Durant would look like a monster and the Sonics would be in the playoffs after making some small trades. Instead look for Durant to shoot sub 43%, sub 5rpg, and have high turnovers...

Seattle did what it had to. But if I was a fan I would feel cheated.

Tell me about it. The Blazers blew it again.

Disagree. No way Rashard Lewis is worth $110MM. That was stupid by the Magic. Getting Jeff Green for Ray Allen was a great move. Count me in the bandwagon that says Green will be a much better NBA player than college because his skills were stifled at Georgetown. He will be a great teammate for Durant in coming years while Ray Allen goes into decline.

    1. Carmelo Anthony-(Nuggets) - Good scoring option, not a great fit for team ball or international rules though.
    2. Shane Battier-(Rockets) - Perfect role player who can keep the team together.
    3. Chauncey Billups-(Pistons) - Good all around G that can help out the team a lot.
    4. Chris Bosh-(Raptors) - Great player that needs to be on this roster.
    5. Kobe Bryant-(Lakers) - Should be the go to man.
    8. Kirk Hinrich-(Bulls) - You need the role players, and he is a perfect fit for international basketball IMO.
    9. Dwight Howard-(Magic) - The big man is a must for the US.
    10. Lebron James-(Cavs) - There is no player like him.
    11. Jason Kidd-(Nets) -Heady floor general.
    13. Tayshaun Prince-(Pistons) - Does the little things and can guard a number of positions. Versitle. Good for FIBA rules.
    14. Michael Redd-(Bucks) - He shooting is great, but his inability to slash and defend concerns me.
    16. Amare Stoudemire-(Suns) - We need his presence down low, and he can step out to defend international PFs.

I think we need to look at a few more bigs, but this would be my team off that list. Durant is too young. Oden might deserve a look simply for his presence. Guys like Prince, Battier, and Hinrich keep a team of superstars together and in line. We need the role players for a team to win in international basketball.

Durant hasn't proved anything in the NBA and you want to throw him to FIBA already? I would take McGrady over Durant all day long. Durant will be a fine player, but you can't put him out on that floor if you want to win.

Mcgrady is big time loser? What kind of Rockets fan are you? Why are you even a member of cluthfans when Tmac is the Leader of our team? Why are you even in here the first place? I choose Mcgrady over Durant anyday of the week!

I'm an open-minded kind of fan. Tmac is a circus clown. He barks more than bite. I hope I'm wrong for next season but looking at his past, he's a loser.

Now, what kind of a fan are you? you one of the 3 blind mice?

No Amare? Battier and Prince are redundant. Hinrich over Billups? No Lebron? I must admit I considered leaving him off because in he and Anthony are redundant scorers and Anthony is better in international play because of the short 3 point line. However, I put him on as backup SG and leader of the 2nd unit so that Durant would fit on the team.
