    According to Morey, the playoffs already started for us. 3 straight games with major playoff implications for the Rockets, and all three are losses. That doesn't bode well for when the real playoffs begin (if we can make it, that is).

    Hollinger's got us at 61%, and Daryl's past numbers tracked fairly close to Hollinger's.

    Hollinger playoff odds have slipped down to 61%

    PHO remaining schedule:
    (* - back to back)
    Blazers
    Thunder
    Clippers*
    Nuggets
    @UTA
    Spurs*
    (Projected: 3-3 or 2-4)

    UTA remaining schedule:
    Mavs
    @POR
    Magic
    Suns
    Blazers
    (Projected: 3-2)

    -->Rockets need to go 3-3 to hold off Pho/Utah
    Nuggets*
    @DAL
    @NOH
    Warriors
    @MIA
    Hornets

    I would think 2-4 would be what I'd expect on for that stretch in a vacuum, especially if Camby can't go. No one else has been an enforcer in the blocks and on the glass. Too bad Dalembert has already gone on vacation.

    Did you expect us to go 0-3 the past few games?

    Nuggets come into our building with the momentum - and a back to back doesn't sap you nearly as much when you just blew out your home-and-away opponent to kick things off. We probably don't have Camby to help counter one of the very best rebounding squads out there. And we've blown our past 3 games at home.

    Hornets have the best previous 10 game record of any non-playoff team in the West outside of Phoenix. They aren't doormats at the moment - won 4 of their last 5 and 5 of their last 7, including Denver and Utah..and a two point loss to the Lakers.

    Dallas and Miami are simply better than we are, even if they rest some starters. Golden State's the only one that should be a given, but they beat us earlier this season too.

    I think we're looking at 2-4 or 3-3. We *could* go 4-2, but I don't project things from the optimistic viewpoint. You'll always overshoot that way.

    They've absolutely got it in them, but they also had it in them to beat the last 3 teams.

    We go 2-4, only beating the Mavs and Heat.
