So is it likely the Orlando pick is ours for next year (I believe it is lottery protected, but are there other options)?
Also, what about the Detriot/Phily pick? I know it won't be a lottery, but at what point will be get that pick be ours for sure. Also, do we owe Vancouver any of these or our own future #1's. I may have missed dicussions about these issues but I thought I would check. Thanks in advance.

It's a can't lose situation - either the Rockets make the playoffs or get a good draft pick..im happy

Houston is sinking "like a lead balloon" in this lottery race. What are they thinking? [IMG]

I'm scared. With Dream back, we're much better than Cleveland, Boston and Denver.

Well... here's to the excitement of the playoffs. Don't worry about the chase against Minnesota; the Suns should set soon.

We're now 7 1/2 games ahead (or back, depending on how you look at it) of the worst record in the league.

We're 6 1/2 games (8 games in the all-important loss column) behind Minnesota for the 8th playoff spot and a first round matchup with LA or Portland.

Basically we are smack dab in the middle of both races.

Though we are playing well (the play of Thomas and Francis has certainly opened my eyes), it's just 5 games and I think the Rockets need to prove they can do this night and night out before we exclude the lottery as a very good possibility.
