Yes I think a short stint in the DLeague would do him good. And the perfect time is this coming weekend. We have 3 games in 4 nights. There will be almost zero minutes of practice time for hi. In that same time frame the vipers have the exact same schedule. He can play in 3 games running in our offense and the Rockets coaches can advise the Vipers what they want to see from him. It will Adelman more film on him and it will give T-Will some real playing time. It's a win win and unless they intend to use him a smart move. I vote for that.
Maybe he's showing off a new tat? I'd be willing to trade for a healthy Oden, and he showed a couple more inches of skin..
I'd like to know if Battier or Hayes has befriended him. I'd like to know if he is running with anybody on our team yet and who is it.
The text on his tweet stated something to the effect of "now that's what I call a 'v'." Oden sent a picture to a person's personal electronic memory assuming it would be confidential.... Williams posted this on a public social networking website that he knew thousands and thousands would view. The guy is an idiot.. and apparently that's been the problem and the reason he hasn't found a home yet.
I couldn't disagree more. I hate the term "glue guy", but Battier provides a great locker room presence in addition to him being the only defender we have who can cover the defensive deficiencies we have. Williams said Battier was one of his role models in his pre-draft interviews. I want Williams learning defense and NBA level professionalism from Battier. I think if you just discard Battier to rush a young player into the rotation then you really hurt the development of the young Rockets. Further, as Williams develops I'd love to see a defensive lineup with Williams and Battier out there. Lowry, Williams, Battier, Patterson, and Hill would be a nice athletic versatile lineup to see imo.
He is now proceeding to argue and insult other users on twitter.. even calling one guy a child molester http://twitter.com/#!/TheRealTWill I want no part of this guy on the Rockets.
He's friends with Brooks. And since Aaron and Kyle spend a lot of time off of the court together, Terrence is hanging out with at least 2 of his teammates.
Say what you want, but imagine if a player like lebron or even our own Kevin Martin was pulling stunts like this... you guys would be spewing all kinds of hate. People who behave like this even on something as silly as a social networking site tend to carry this behavior over in their actual social life and on the court. There's a reason the Nets gave him up for nothing. He might be talented, athletic, and gifted... but smart, mature, and good decision-maker are not listed anywhere on his resume.
He's gonna be calling you a stalker next... Seriously, you don't know who he's talking to or why he said what he said... Hasn't found a home yet? He plays for the Rockets... He is HOME!
Actually one good thing about Twitter is you can see EXACTLY who he is talking to and exactly what he was responding to. I hope he succeeds here, but I'm not very optimistic at this point. Hell, we're talking about the guy who got called out by an elementary schooler for his maturity while playing D-League ball. You guys have a lot of cute pictures and .gifs saved on your computers, but I've yet to see someone actually refute or discuss any of the issues that I've mentioned.
