Did anyone catch the Rich Franklin vs. Anderson Silva fight tonight?

That was one of the best knockouts I've seen in a long time. Is franklin's nose normally shaped like that or did Silva's knees break it that badly?

edit: well I tried, but 'nomorewords' quoted me so too bad :)

You need to make your statement a spoiler. That's going to ruin it for a lot of folks.

No, Franklin's nose is not normally tilted to the right like it is after tonight.

Silva's Muay Thai is absolutely vicious!!

I don't see anyone in the Middleweight division who can even come close to his striking, I see him holding this belt for a while.

Well, a movie has already 'happened' when they print the final copy but that doesn't mean anyone's seen it.
    Thanks for the link btw.

As opposed to providing spoilers before the fight actually takes place? ;)

Well the fight was over when Franklin did not do anything at all to try and get out of the clinch of Silva. Silva beat on Franklins ribs until he had no will to fight left, and that took all of about a minute. It seemed like Franklin was scared and lost in this fight. That was one of the nastiest broken noses I have ever seen.

And man how the hell did Sherk stay conscious for 5 rounds after loosing what seemed to be about half the blood in his body. To his credit he laid one ass beating on Florian.

No kidding. Either try to duck and get your head out of the hold or push forward against him and take your chances against him on the ground than rather to stand there and get punished.

Kinda sad to hear about this. Franklin was one of my favorites. Looks like he was just dominated and that's not something I thought could happen to him. I thought he was beatable, but to be abused... damn.
