he wasn't defending himself, but you cant stop that fight that soon...let him get hit for about 5 more seconds, then stop it. overall, the whole card was a bust. The HW fight was a 25 minute boxing match with both fighters scared to take a chance for fear of being knocked out. Highlight of the evening for me was the UFC announcing a Chuck Lidel vs Wanderlei Silva fight later in the year if Chuck beats Babalu. I think Silva will destroy Chuck.
Yeah there wasn't one good fight really, big dissapointment. The guy from Conroe was at least entertaining when he bled all over the ring.
That Shamrock/Ortiz fight was sad. Shamrock just needs to hang it up - he's not in Ortiz's class. I think the ref did a good job stopping that fight. Ortiz landed at least 5-6 elbows straight on Shamrocks forehead. Shamrock was doing nothing to defend himself. The first of the 5 rocked him... everything after that was one step closer to brain damage. Wanderlei Silva vs. Liddell ... hopefully Liddell has improved since being killed by Quinton Jackson because Silva has beaten Jackson twice. But then Liddell beat Ortiz who beat Silva.
