A three game road winning streak puts the Rockets high in the Standings, and what do they do? They go home and lose to a lowly road team like the Nuggets. If the Rockets fail to make the playoffs this year, it will be because of losses like this. I know some would say that they made a great comeback. Well, they should never have been down by so much in the first place. Did anyone else see that Walt was open under the basket when Mobley made that final steal? If he had been aware of that, instead of trying to be a hero, he could have passed it to Walt for a tying slam.
Terrible defense on Van Exel. He made the same play every time down the court, and the Rockets were never aware of it. He would drive around a pick for an easy layup. Maybe if Hakeem had been in during the fourth
(despite his poor game), Van Exel would not have been so eager to drive to the hoop. Overall, a very dissapointing loss. Now the Spurs and Lakers are up next. Say hello to a three game losing streak.

Yeah, well the Celtics played a nice game when we played them last, but the Rockets should still should not have lost to them. Losing to the Nuggets at home? What a sickening nightmare that just came true.

this does show that the rockets havent matured enough yet though. We should not be losing to Nuggets at home. And Mobley should have passed that ball to Walt for an easy slam. Unless there just wasnt enough time on the clock?

I have to come to Mobleys defense on this one. when he got the steal there was only about 3 secounds on the clock. Maybe he could have gotten the ball to Walt but I am sure all Mobley was thinking was that the buzzer was about to sound and he better shoot. If he had passed the ball and Walt would have bobled the ball or just not be able to get the shot off before the buzzer you would be roasting him for not taking the shot with so little time.

What I can't understand is why Mo was not in the game in the last few minutes. He was clearly having his way under the basket on the offensive end almost all night.
