    i don't have an iPhone or BBerry, but you can check your gmail through those if you have your IMAP set up.

    You can see when the last message was tweeted (it will say less than 20 seconds)...and when you're on the page for a few seconds it'll tell you how many people have tweeted it since you first clicked on the link (it was 500+ after a minute for me).
