    YOU CAN DO IT!

I was sort of the same scenario you were in some years back. A lot of people on this board doesn't know me so I'll give you some personal advice.

1st I have 5 kids (yes 5 kids) 11yr,8,yr, 5yr, 2 born in the 2008 (Jan and Dec) Irish twins :) It can be tough at times and when I say at times I mean 70% of the damn time till they go to sleep lol.

If your not into cooking big meals then you need to start. I do a lot of of my big cooking on Sunday night which will last till Wed or Thursday.. Yes it won't be fresh but it will save you time which is the most important resource during this period. Patience, if your slowly running out of it right now try and find your zen, peace, whatever it is because you will need it. You and your wife will need to focus on truly being a team because having twins is unlike anything you have experienced. Take advantage of the baby product companies and e-mail them your situation. They will send you coupons from diapers to similac.

On formula (if you guys are going that way), as much as I hate shopping there, the Walmart brand is just as good as Similac or the other brands and 1/2 as much. Seeing as though you're having twins, you might want to consider this...

    The babies are out!

It went well. I thought we weren't going to be able to do a VBAC because pitocin isn't a great idea with a c-section scar. She was going in for high-blood pressure, not labor, so we thought we'd need pitocin. But, they said they could do pitocin -- and then never needed it, because Mrs. V went into labor on command.

The birth went quickly and well. It was easier and less damaging than the last 2. They are Justine, 4 lbs 12 oz, and Roman, 5 lbs 2 oz. Roman being 6 minutes younger.

They are in NICU now, but were never all that bad off. They should be moved to the nursery today, I think.

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and prayers and advice for the future. It has gone well so far.

Kids came home with us yesterday. We spent our first sleepless night as the twins alternated being hungry.
