Instead of all the "Trade so and so" threads, how do y'all feel about maybe just tweaking the starting lineup a little. Once Glen Rice comes back, how about making Mobley the 6th man (again), and putting Posey at the 2 guard. Back when the Rox won 48 games and missed the playoffs, they had Mobley coming off the bench and he was pretty successful. I think Posey would fill in at the 2 effectively because he is a good slasher, decent shooter, and he plays more of a team game than Mobley. He is not one to dribble the clock out, he doesn't require the 'spotlight', and he hustles unlike anyone on the team.

I would personally like to see them trade Mobley for a big, bona fide shooting guard, but the chances of that happening are pretty slim. He would be a great spark off the bench with some quick offense. His lack of a desire to play within a 'team' offense makes him a better candidate to come off the bench for some instant offense. They are always preaching about chemistry, and I think that Mobley is the one that kills the chemistry for the starting 5.

    Any thoughts?

If the Rockets continue to lose then I'm for it. Even if Rice can't come back I wouldn't mind putting Tmo at SF and moving Posey to SG.

Shake things up. See how it works.

I like Mobley as the 6th man...not sure if he would accept the roll. Unfortunately, if the experiment backfired, he'd have a wide open opportunity to grumble.

I'd take it one step further though, I'd tell Rice to lay it all out and sub Terence Morris immediately. But I would put Rice back in quickly so that he never got too cold.

Lastly, I would make sure Rice got touches.

I kind of like the idea. That way we should or might at least two of our offensive players in the game at all times. And maybe not having Steve and Cat in the game at the same time on some occasions might help ball movement and give Yao more touches........just my 2 cents.
