I don't understand why they would get rid of a major character. I was really surprised by that. And what's up with Barbara being all psycho? I mean it's really tough to see Jim marrying that in the future.

I thought the show was terrible, but reading the reviews on AVCLub.com and the comments there is generally amusing.
Did I miss something or did they completely ignore that she got shot while flying the helicopter off the island? I thought she took a hit to the gut and was going to bleed out for sure.
I'm leaning toward hating it. Watching out of obligation right now. The look of the show is amazing though.

Anyone tune in for the first 2 episodes. Seems that they have gotten past the freak of the week type episodes for a more cohesive story. I've actually enjoyed these 2 more than last season. With no fish, Penguin taking a back seat to the emergence of the Joker, and the wiping out of some minor characters, the show seems more focused than it was at points last season.
I guess they figured a long story arc was needed to keep it interesting. Good decision on their part. I was concerned about the Joker becoming more prominent this season. No longer. The actor seems up to the task.
Last night's episode pushed the show to new heights!! Hoping the season is just as intense, and Cameron Monaghan as Jerome aka The Joker....wow.
One more thing, I'm actually enjoying how they're building the show in its own universe and not following the comics.

This is the kind of second season course corrections these type of shows need, they've really trimmed the fat and made it a better show. Joker kid is just awesome, looking forward to the rest of the season.
