There may have been an old thread, but it is very old so I am starting one. This is probably one of the 5 best shows on tv, but I guess no one watches it. Would have been great if espn could have picked it up.
No one watches it when it's only on DirectTV. Of course, when it comes back to NBC in April I'll certainly be watching...
There is actually a lot more to it that sports. It is pretty good IMO. I use to work at a coffee shop and the actor of "smash" williams would study his lines there. That is how I actually got into the show. He was a great guy too. Real cool and humble.
Great show, but no use talking about it now since it won't be on NBC till summer. It's actually become less and less about football over its course. It's still centered around it but 90% of the show is away from the football field. Still very good nonetheless.
I watched this season on DirecTV, the season finale was just last week. Another very solid season. I was worried how it would be with so many new characters, but they pulled it off. For years a friend of mine tried to get me to watch this show, and once I finally did I was hooked. It's one of the best shows I've ever watched.
