    When will it end???????

Please stop blaming the refs. Game 2 we had 19 to's to L.A.'s 11. Today we had 17 to there 6. We are taking there best shot and somehow grabbing an occasional lead without playing our best ball by far. We need to get this turned around ASAP or this series will be over Tuesday.

Who's blaming the refs? We basically got our asses own by the Black Mamba with all his crazy ass shots. Everybody on their team was hitting every wide open 3 while on the other hand we didnt hit shiiiii.

I am sure this is driving the coach crazy too. This happened in game 1 and game 2. I thought we would finally learn. That was the main reason we lost game 2. Here we go again in this game and we still made 11 tun overs in 1st half.

This is a great thread that will sadly get to the bottom too fast.

    You are 100% right.

Agreed. The refs played no part in this.
Brooks, Lowry, Wafer and even Scola were making silly mistakes out there handing the ball to the Lakers.
e.g. 1 play: Scola got a defensive rebound and Aaron Brooks is waiting to take possession of the ball to bring it up the court. Kobe lurks around before intercepting a weak pass from Scola to Brooks. Amateur play. Scola was at fault for not making sure Brooks was defender free, and Brooks was at fault for not making sure of the same.
Lame. There were also too many wrong decisions being taken on offense where the Lakers defenders basically closed in on the the Rockets player forcing that turnover. We have really good, hustle players but they're all too nervous as ball handlers.

Yeah, there's always a group of people that like to blame the refs everytime we lose...with the exception of Ron getting ejected today (which wouldn't have changed the result of the game anyways) sadly games 2 and 3 have been on us...

We've been exposed. We have no one that can really control the ball and make good decisions. Kyle is the best and he's not been really good.

    yep, can't blame the refs.

    LA was making their shots.

We were too busy dribbling down the clock and throwing the ball away.

Lakers was very good at forcing turnovers.

They were all over in our passing lanes.

We were basically just throwing the ball around and not handling it carefully.

AB was really bad at taking care of the ball this game. Kobe stole the ball from him with AB has both of his hands holding the ball.

They were making lazy and bad passes. Passes that threw at teammate's feet instead of chest. They were making many basic basketball mistakes.

If they still don't know how to pass the ball to Yao by next season, the Rockets will have a hard long way to go for the championship.

That was my point. They hit everything and we were still in the game. We even cut it down to 4 at one point in the 4th.

According to Van Gundy each possession is worth a little more than 1 point. If we cut back 11 to's to put us even with L.A. that would give us about 11 points and the lead in the 4th.

been saying that was the key for the whole week, even though a lot of those came when the games was already over in the 4th

Outside that ridiculous first game against the Blazers, the Rockets have been a mediocre offensive team the entire postseason, just as they've been for years. They'll never be a true championship-caliber team until they get much better on that end. Middle of the pack offense -- not amongst playoff teams, but amongst the league -- will not cut it.

    Turnovers + Odom/Wakton/Arisa 6-8 from 3 not a good combination.

We can definitive turn the ball less and those 3 player probably will not shoot that well from 3.

ill take kobe's 11-28 all day, especially after his 5-6 1st quarter. which means he shot 6-22 the rest of the way but yea...those damn turnovers and poor shot selection. gotta give it to the fakers, they came out quick again and took the crowd out FAST!

Um..Do you even watch the Houston Rockets especially Aaron Brooks? This guy hasn't changed a bit ever since the beginning of the season. This guy hasn't been learning anything at all. I'm not sure why in the world you would think he is.

Lakers length and their ability to get in the passing lanes and press has a lot to do with our turnovers. This problem will continue for the rest of the series.

Where'd did the Brooks from Game 1 go? He's MIA, and it's why we're losing. Actually, scratch that. He's MIA until he turns the ball over every time we try to put together a run.

We been shooting 47% from the field not bad at all and we blow Portland twice. But we still get our shoot block a lot and turn the ball over a lot. But when we get a shoot we are efficient. We just play slow and don't fast break much because that's how we will win games play at our pace.
