I wish I could believe that, but aint no way in hell thats true. I mean its probably not that hard to come up with some bogus injury to sit out Francis the entire year. Plus I dont think the Rockets would want to hinder Francis's development by sitting him out for half a season. I dont think Francis would agree to waste some of his career on the injured list for a bogus reason.

I heard you were a *** and the reason that you post here is to find a date. You wanna tank 2004 because you think you'll get lucky here.

Have you ever had a migraine, dip****? I really hope you aren't Asian. If you are, I'm ashamed.

Oh, and if there is a season to tank, it's next season, when Lebron James is available. Go back to Chinatown.

Hey man, you are real mature. Calling someone out on the internet.

You called out Steve, even though you have no idea what you are tlaking about "ho." You wanna look for me, look for me. I ain't be from da hood tho now. U too cool man.

Look man, it's hard to detect sarcasm on the internet, so I just had to put you on the spot. You "heard" Steve was faking it, I "heard" you were gay. NOw, considering I don't know you, what am I trying to say?

It is as equally irresponsible of you to say that about Francis as it is of me to say bad things about you. I don't even know you, just like I doubt you even know Steve.

Now, if you were speculating, that's a difference. Say so. I would never say "the truth about George Clooney is he is gay." That would be speculating , which I am 99.9 % sure that was what you were doing in regards to Steve's migraines.

Believe me, if you have ever had migraines, that would be something you would not want to joke about. I can think of a million other medical vices before I would wnat to have migraines. They truly suck.

    gr8-1..

while I agree with your general sentiment, I disagree with your tactic. Rather acidic if you know what I mean.

the dude did not say he heard it. he may have implied that, but he never professes to know this for sure. his opinion should be respected here, because he is not flaming anyone or dissing anyone. ya, the opinion may be whack, but dude has a right to express it in this forum, as long as he does not flame anyone on this board. we do not have right to trash someone expressing an opinion, because we think it it whack. I know you were using literary tactics to make your point, but it did flame him and make his statement more than what it really is...

his response was rather alarming too, but you threw fuel on it, although your tactic was kinda satirically amusing...

two wrongs do not make a right, but three wrongs really do not make a right and a right with a wrong is not right unless the wrong was to right a wrong - Kenny Smith on right versus wrong

Honestly, did the thought really ever cross anyone's mind? Just a yes or a no would do...

    I don't think so...

Certain players......Gary Payton, Steve Francis, Sprewell, Reggie Miller, David Robin...(whoops, mistake :D )....They just don't do these things....

It's possible they're playing it safe, so they won't risk further injury, but not for the sake of tanking...

Satiric or not, please find other ways to get your point across. You got something to say to azn-baller, be my guest. I'm not thrilled with his post either. But please don't throw around derogatory terms and phrases while doing it. I'm neither a "***," nor from "Chinatown," but you insult more than just azn-baller using those terms that way. I don't mean to exacerbate the tensions in this thread, but let's try to keep the BBS at a standard higher than the ESPN boards.

No hard feelings, of course. :)

    1) Don't post BS rumors here as "fact".

    2) Don't insult other posters using homophobic terms.

    3) Don't insult other posters using racist terms.

Each of those three things constitutes a violation of the Terms of Service you agreed to when you registered here.

I think that about covers it. There are some people in this thread who are lucky to still be able to post here after some of the lines that have been crossed.
