Please, can we bring him home? D'antonit's system is perfect for this guy and he's been tearing us up from 3 in at least two game this year.
How good is Morey for being able to identify and develop guys like Troy and Robert Covington? These dudes were on nobody’s radar. He basically gave them the blueprint on how they could stick in this league and to their own credit, they went out and executed it to the best of their ability.
Would love to have him on this team next year depending on what else happens. However, he's a terrible defender and we have definitely shored that side up.
Yeah still very one dimensional although he is great at his area of expertise. That said, when things got tight and we decided to not let him shoot, he was completely neutralized and ineffective. Covered him up, ran him off the 3 point line, and made him attempt to put the ball on the floor. JJ even blocked his shot out of bounds to force a shot clock violation.
I have brought this up before, but it is worth repeating. Ex-Rockets light us up, BUT our players have subpar games against their old teams. Have you noticed?
I would LOVE to bring back RoCo especially with our forwards being old and declining, Ariza especially on the defensive end. Covington is 27 and in his prime right now and would do wonders on this team.
