Quick question. I know if I want to use my phone for data and/or calling, I need to pay a little extra. However, im confused on the Wifi.

The basic plan for $30 with 120mb of data doesn't include wifi... So, does that mean I wont be able to get on the wifi at the hotel? Or is that just for att hotspots?

I assume that has something to do with AT&T hot spots. I have had absolutely no problems using typical hotel and airport wifi with my AT&T iPad when traveling to France, Korea and Brazil. I did nothing special to use it out of the country.

You can use wifi at your hotel. What that ATT package does is give you access to some third party wifi hotspots in select countries.

That won't limit your ability to get on free wifi networks (like the one at your hotel)

Where are you going? In most countries a you can buy an unlimited data Sim card about 30 to 50 bucks. Screw the roaming.
