Yeah, the social media feeds you have will definitely tilt you towards a predictable outcome. I like bitcoin/crypto feeds, many of its influencers are inherently distrustful of the government, have faux libertarian leanings (their love-hate with the SEC depends on how much they lost from an incident and sometimes pain from their direct followers), and can sometimes post the most offensive out of topic political garbage for either side. I like macro/contrarian feeds. They trend towards old money gold, a similar distrust of Big Government, have faux libertarian leanings (their love-hate with the Fed...yadda yada...), and generally post Con garbage with a couple of throwaway tweets that bash Trump while silently accepting his golden showers knowing full well he was running up the deficit. I imagine liberal feeds are like some of the lib tweets I see here but far more distorted. I live in Cali and I don't need to reaffirm that stuff in the digital space. If you're asking why the algo gives you a script that dumbs down thinking, you already know it's happening. The FB/Cambridge hearings in Congress made it plain that it's still about how to hook you as simply and relevantly as possible. You might like a couple of stolen Elon memes, but if you walk into the gateway towards sending you to members who generated the memes, then you become an added data point to a tried and true personality type with predictable ad preferences. Moderates are generally harder to sell to. You can even call moderate influencers basic, boring or bland but that's pretty much 80% of the people out there. Harder to sell boner pills, hair loss tonics, US Mint Gold Plated Coins or apocalypse seeds if you're not a con looking into hideout bunkers away from Big Guv. Being gay is not an ideology. Indoctrinating children with the non-sensical idea that there are 76 genders is. Chemically castrating children or even surgically mutilating them for life is. Trying to force everyone to use dumbass pronouns is. And so on and so on. Plenty of reasonable gay people are sick of this **** as well. Adults should be able to live their lives the way they want to, including trying to create the appearance and believing that they belong to a different sex. But that doesn't mean that everyone else needs to accommodate their subjective beliefs, if they are objectively untrue. That's not "violence".
