now that i just think about this is the first year i could remember that there is hardly ANY training camp fodder at all.

2 players Wafer and Campbell and Campbell was already waived.

previous years there were always a couple of guys brought in just for camp for a shot this year there is really just one which is even stranger considering there is only one rookie on this team.

to me thats exciting since it means that this team is loaded with a lot of talent that there isn't much room for even possible 13th, 14th type guys on the bench to make the team.

which means while we wont see the projected starters playing much tonight it does mean that most of the game will be played with contributers to the team. Everyone playing tonight will more than likely be on the team come opening day so it will give us fans a good look to see how players have improved in the off season and it will give the bench guys a good chance to play with each other in a NBA game against a different team. it also gives the coaching staff valuable information about the second unit as well. in the past years the starters would get a good lead and the second unit would always come in with no chemistry and lose it pretty quickly...that really shouldnt happen this year. its hard to improve on something if like 3/5 of the guys playing in the second half aren't even on the team anymore.

of course i feel wafer, harris and strawberry will likely be cut but i think the team will keep one of these guys.

MAN I NEED A LINK FOR TONIGHTS GAME!

    cant wait cant wait.
