Looks really good. Lots of Oscar talk for the movie and Rourke. I can't wait to see it. <object width="720" height="339"><param name="movie" value="http://www.traileraddict.com/emd/7450"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.traileraddict.com/emd/7450" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" wmode="transparent" width="720" height="339"></embed></object> Marisa Tomei as a stripper is a nice bonus too.
I love Darren Aronofsky. He's the Kubrick of this generation. Wish we could see more Sci-Fi from him though. I loved The Fountain.
Finally, a movie that showcases Pro Wrestling in a positive light. Just to let you know, it doesn't portray wrestling as being a legitimate sport but for the art form that it truly is. Almost like an inside look of the world of professional wrestling.
Not a single bad review for this movie http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the_wrestler/ 100% looks like it's gonna be worth the $9.75. can't wait to check it out. having marisa tomei as a lap dancer doesn't hurt.
a 44 year old naked Marisa Tomei?? She's only gotten hotter, and combine that with the last Jenifer Aniston GQ shoot, I'll be hunting cougar for 2009.
i missed a screening of this last sunday at ucla, but a few friends of mine went and they said it was great. probably will try to see it soon or see if i can get my hands on a screener from my friend of it to watch
It says it will be released on December 17, 2008. Yet, when I look up showtimes in Houston, they don't have any listings. Does anybody know when and where they will be showing this movie in Houston?
Apparently has some pretty difficult to watch scenes of violence, FWIW (in case your date isn't into that...) But otherwise, YES, Mickey Rourke FTW
Aronofsky name alone has me waiting to check this out, have heard nothing but good things about Mickey Rourke's performance, can't wait to see it!
