I would gladly give up Cuttino "Yow Me" Mobely for Anderson, but I wouldn't trade Cato alone for Stoudemire and McGinnis, much less throw in the only guy on the team who can make a jump shot. You're giving up too much for backup point guards. j
Well this was just an idea. And bad one. I change my mind. Horrible idea. Forget it! First... Francis wants to become a shooting guard, right? Well Damon Stoudemire and Jeff McInnis would both split time at point guard. They can both run the offense. Then Derek Anderson would be a perfect backup. He can shoot and he is a good guy. Good veteran. Or we could move some of them.. Moochie can just be the cheerleader. James Posey won't have to be resigned but he can be. If we got rid of Glen Rice, it would allow Bostjan Nachbar and Terence Morris to play. I'm not sure if Boki is good or not...but if he has been horrible, then resign Posey or some cheap average player. Eddie Griffin and Mo Taylor will both stay...hope they get better. Yao Ming will play majority of minutes. Jason Collier will be happy! He will get to play! Or we could not trade Cato and instead...trade Mo Taylor. Then Cato could play power forward as backup.. and center as well. We give up Cuttino Mobley because although he is a good, talented player, he will not fit with us anymore. And his attitude... Blazers want him because he is cheap and a good player. And he can be traded if they want to trade him. We give up Rice because he is old and his contract expires anyways. And this will allow Boki and TMo to play. They want Rice because they are in a very bad budget problem and his contract expires after the season ends. And he can still shoot. He is also a veteran. We give up Cato or Taylor because although they play good...they both are backups and make way too much money. They want Taylor or Cato because they are both good players. Blazers would have Pippen and Daniels at the point. Mobley and Wells. Patterson, Woods, and Randolph. Wallace and maybe Mo. Or Dale Davis and maybe Cato.
On your proposed team, Derek Anderson and Stevie are your best guards, so you don't need Stoudemire and McInnis. Maybe if you think McInnis is an upgrade from Moochie, or Stoudemire will settle for being your third guard, but then it's either or, but not both. j

We don't get value for any of our players. Mobley is better than Anderson, Cato is as good as Stoudamire, and Glen Rice's contract is much more important than another PG in McInnis. I am sure the Blazers would be happy to do this trade, fortunately for us, Carrol Dawson is not r****ded.
people stop throwing useless trades in threads, no one cares, most are not going to happen, and no we are not impressed w/ the ideas, well most of them , some are ok though lol go rockets!
I hear they grow some excellent ganja in the Pacific Northwest...Stoudamire can bring some of that down here.
THe most important thing that you forgot is that we must trade Moochie Norris. He is the #1 blight on our team! So he should be on every trade package proposal!
Yeah...the reason is because we didn't even pick him last year - he is this year's draft pick, remember? Seriously, the reason so many fans hang on to the Boki is gerat is because they are force fed that idea by Rocket management, who, either think Boki will be great, or refuse to admit that he was probably a bad pick.
