Well according to Dr on here, The Rockets and the Hawks are going to make a trade within the next 2 days. It involves Josh Smith and and two other guys for Head, Battier and Brooks. Atleast that is what he is going around ESPN and RealGM saying and that he wasn't allowed to post it here cause of Clutch said not to. I don't buy it, but I figured I would post it here.
Jordan was the best player on the planet. Having him on the team, always was worth it. It made u sad when he started to miss dunks but you'll love him forever. Tmac is the same. Don't ignore his greatness but also don't let those moments shadow the fact that he is old and heartless (occasionally not). Manu might never be par to Tmac in terms of playing basketball. However, Tmac probably never fight for the championship as hard as Manu.
are you serious wow.i'm not too sure about that.if we get josh smith its over really,he is one of the best weakside defender in the league .so much size so much hops so much potential.wow if morey make this happen,it's over
LOL. This is why we don't allow other message board posts to be quoted or posted as news here. It's nonsense. I can't delete the post, because then those who saw it might think I'm hiding something... I have to respond. It's a user of the BBS yanking chains elsewhere because I mentioned Atlanta as fantasy talk here.
It makes me laugh that after about 10 consecutives posts saying manu is overrated for paying alongside Duncan no single poster said anything about Ginobili performance against Dallas without Duncan, fror those who didn´t see the game Ginobili almost won it singlehandedly. I saw some poster that called me a t-mac hater and yao lover, and i now understand his thinking as clearly he is a guy that don´t read too much, just by seeing this thread you can tell i have no preference of any of Yao or Tmac, and none for manu as i said the best fit for the rockets to trade tmac for was nash+raja bell or nash+barbosa.
We shouldve settled this along time ago T-mac is the best player and our franchize player We are not trading T-Mac
Dude, you might have called out the TOFs once in a while. But you sounded much more harsh and bitter, and used much more offensive language when you called out your so-called YOFs. You have the right to deny anything but another with minimal reading ability can easily tell the difference. Anyway I don't really want to start a pissing match with you (unless you want to) because we already have too many of that on this board lately. People here can make their own judgment by reading your past posts and what you are going to say in the future. Everyone in this forum is a judge.
Ok understand your point but, T-Mac was probably half speed for the past four years I'm guessing on that. This is his first REAL year that he actually looks and feels comfortable out there doing with his body what he wants to. Manu can do what T-Mac does for maybe a few games but, if he has to do it for more than 6 games, I'm betting he's gonna have some off games. T-Mac on the other hand, is a multiple threat, I do wish though he would attack and penetrate a little more and shoot the bombs less. Bottom line though the results speak for themselves at this point.
Mcgrady is putting up 25, 6, 6. And some of you people say trade him. The only person that does more is Lebron, and thats the only person I would trade him for.
Well, granted I might be a little bit more passionate towards these "YOF's" but my reaction is warranted because.....well....frankly "Yao supporters" (euphemism to avoid any political incorrectness/correctness) are a little bit more stubborn and offensive. Granted too, I might have overreacted somewhat in the past so I'm trying to "argue" in a more diplomatic manner. The longevity of this thread attests to not only the mindless and stubborn bickering between the two "groups," it also reflects the state of fan-ship on this board. I can guarantee you that Clutch and the other moderators does not like these kinds of threads (save for Rafer that is) Imao, I'm also not looking for a ......."pissing" match (?) with you. Refer to my previous post (the one with the picture), and you can see that I HATE this constant bickering, especially concerning my two FAVORITE players in the league. You say everyone is a judge, so that means everyone has their opinion, which also means that your opinion of me, whether you like to think so or not, is meaningless to me. Also notice that I never attack an individual's opinion, I might get rowdy up, but I never say their opinion is stupid or something. What I get angry at is the "faction" that consistently rips against a certain player, regardless of the circumstance (i.e TOFs/YOFs)I KNOW IN MY HEART WHAT I AM, and thats a fan that will backstab on ANYBODY on this team. (again except for Rafer) Now unless Yao or Tmac was a selfish, arrogant, and relatively unproductive player, I would not contend against shipping them for someone else. THANK YOU FOR YOUR BUSINESS. NOW LETS JUST ALL GET ALONG.....ERR....LIKE YOU SAID.....NO MORE "PISSING" WITH EACH OTHER. ....Like these two do:
Statistics mean nothing. Manu's PG is Parker. I would like to see him put up similar numbers with Alston at the reins.
Well hope they trade Alston to San Antonio, and start cheering for the *ucking Spurs then! T-Mac is going nowhere, just like Kobe. They make too much money for their respected teams from sales from millions of jerseys. GIVE IT UP!
Fair enough. Actually I hope I will be able to tell myself in the future that my judgment of you is wrong too. We need more rational posters (like what you have claimed yourself is in the above post) than haters on this board.
