So if this TMac deal goes down, if Shaq stays put in LA(My own personal felling) and Rudy T becomes LA's new coach could we swing a deal that would send MoT to LA for a Resigned D-fish(2 years 8 mill tops) and Rick.

Logic: LA is so capped out (if Kobe and Shaq Stay) and MoT is an upgrade at the PF spot for them in that he can be a 3rd option and is young. Karla aint gonna make it through a whole season and they need someone better than Medenko. Plus he was a RudyT signing. We on the other hand get a back point gaurd and back up small foward with playoff experience and more importantly Contracts expiring 2005(FOx) and 2006(Fish).

    just some food for thought...

I'd rather just keep mo and sign fisher with the exception.

I wouldn't be surprised if Francis got traded to LA to play with Rudy Again.

You wouldn't be surprised? What are the Lakers going to give us (or the Magic) in the trade that would be worth anything? Besides, there is no way in hell Francis and Kobe could play together. There would not be enough touches to make them both happy. Since Kobe is apparently running things in LA now, I don't think he would allow that trade to happen.

I think Derek Fisher would be a great stater with t-mac, yao, howard, and JJ. But as far as FOX goes....i don't wAnt any part of him.

But if the T-mac deal goes down I'm all for it....but...........................We need some depth on the bench!!!!

Rudy knows a plague from a mile when he sees one. He knows better.

It's funny because I used to be a fan when he was a Celtic with Dee Brown, Dino Rajah, David Wesley, etc, but now I can't stand his stupid muppet face. How could he agree to play for the Lakers in the first place? Ya can't play for the Lakers AND Celtics. Ya just can't. It's like beer before liquor or something.

Good idea though! If getting Eddie Griffin is an option, then we shouldn't hesitate to try and turn Mo into a couple quality role players in a deal like this. Howard and Griffin should be enough at pf, esp with Weatherspoon still being under contract.
