I'm in the camp that wants to get rid of dominate-the-ball players who don't fit with Francis/Ming : namely KT, Mooch, Mobely. I'm not sure we can get anyone else of value for these players, however. I think they have no real trade value. I don't want someone else's trash in return. Perhaps we'd be better with draft picks - or nothing. Maybe nothing is better.

Can you see any possibility to extract value from these spare parts, or, if these are Your Favorite Players - from any spare parts in the Rockets? The only possibility I see now is Eddie Griffin. Griffin MAY get some value in return. Can't trade Taylor, Rice, Cato, Mobely, KT, Mooch - geez.

Well, if there's nothing, part 2 of question is What can Rudy do? Can he force square pegs into round roles ? I don't think players ever really change. What you see is what you get, after two or three years in. IF we know Mobes and KT will never pass, do not pass to them unless you want them to shoot. Only pass to them when they get a play. If they're in the game, Rudy must have the other players know to avoid them if they're not the more profitable shot. Geez. I hate this.

As a senior poster I expected this thread to be worth reading. I was disappointed.
