I wonder if we're going to make a trade before the break (allstars). IMO we should try and find another point guard. Given the fact that LUE and WARD have only played in 2 games but in both game we were undersized and outplayed by the other team at this position. SURA, when he gets back will help us alot but HOW MUCH? I understand that our team isn't going to GEL right off the bat but if WARD and LUE is all we got; HOUSTON we're in Trouble.

I sure hope we do, but I don't know if we have any pieces to trade. Antonio Daniels sounds like a dream right now.

It may not be that much of a dream. The Sonics probably won't be very good at all this year so he *may* be available. If you could swing a Rashard/Daniels for anything except TMac/Yao that would be sweet, but doubt it.

Rashard; I think would be a dream. The Sonics isn't going to give up a great young talent like him. BTW isn't Rashard from Houston? I bet he would love to come down and play in his hometown with YAO and TMAC. For Pg, I think we would need someone who is Tall or Quick. In the first 2 games it looks like Ward and Lue is having trouble passing the ball to YAO in the post. The season is wayyyyyyy to early to tell if they would get any better but they will always be undersized and slow. Reguardless of how much better they get.

I was thining the same thing, and even started a thread about it after game 1. It seems that this will be the weakest part of the roster. Thre are all kinds of reports in the media suggesting that the Rockets will try to sure up the position this season. But who? It's not like Kidd or Bibby will be walking through the door with what we have to offer. It just seems those that would be a good fit for this team are not available or tradeable for what we have to give back, or there are guys that may be tradeable but don;t seem to fit what JVG wants.

I think if there is going to be a trade at the point postition then we are going to wait and see how sura fits in. If things havant got better by that time then I can see them trying to find someone else.

Yeah but for the time being they better find a way to win...They are actually more boring to watch than last season.
