As everyone's noticed Tracy's shot is way off and he is not driving the lane.
On the defensive side he seems a step slow right now too_Our boy just doesn't seem to be moving well out there.

Now,I'm inclined to believe the shooting could very well be attributed to the new ball as many are having problems with it.

As far as getting to the hole...TMac is not even trying to penetrate. It's like he's been reduced to an aging Bob McAdoo much of the time.

Is his back so bad as to affect his play to this point? Is he just shaking off rust?or has an edict come down from up top that they don't want him taking it to the hoop very much to try to make sure he is healthy at the end of the year?

Whatever it is,it's tough to watch him struggle so mightily when we know what he's been capable of in the past.

    Does he still have "it"?

I think he needs to get back to superstar level for us to go deep in the playoffs.

His jumper's been off and his aggression has gone down big time, but one thing he has improved on is his vision. He has had some great passes the last 2 games.

Everybody's playing with the new ball, nobody else has had near the problem with it that Tracy has. No excuses, I thought that was a Rockets motto?

Tracy's courtvision has been really good for awhile now.

It's everything else....just completely out of synch right now.

I'm confident that Tracy will come around, but right now he looks like a shell of the player he was.We can win the title with TMac playing good D,handling the ball some, and shooting like we know he can.The offense will go through Yao.....Hopefully TMac will get it together..Right now he looks like a man with a back problem that's also trying to adjust to a new ball.

Tracy McGrady is a few migraines away from being Steve Francis.

With all due respect, there are already like ten other "McGrady is struggling and he sucks" threads...just add your comments to that one.

May be the mods can just merge this with one of the other threads, or create an all-purpose "Brokeback T-Mac" thread where all this insightful commentary can go...

The way I see it is I like what T-Mac's doing right now; Playing team ball. I like his game now more (passing the ball), instead of him pulling a Kobe and jacking up shots left and right. The "W" looks alot better than him having 30 points. I'd take T-Mac averaging only 15 points a game and have a 60 and 22 record any team. Team ball wins Championships.

I know the season is still young and TMac SUPPOSEDLY will be "the Sh*t" once the postseason comes around...

But I'm not worried about the postseason, I'm thinking about the NOW.. and the bottom line is TMac has NOT delivered and his lackadaisical play is costing our team. I don't care if he's good in postseasons or not, there is no reason for him to play so badly. Especially 3 GAMES in a row???

He needs to spend more time in the gym, stay over there. Sh*t stay over for the night if he has to. He's supposed to be our bonafied super duper star... and he doesn't even look like he's in the top 10 of small forwards.

Cmon TMac, you're making all those commercials with Tmac in them look mighty stupid.

tracy has been doing a god job of getting assists and rebounds to try to compensate for his lack of scoring.

however, like in tonights game...we need him to be an offensive threat!

I'm happy T-Mac started to come alive in the 2nd though.

Love the 3 in a row free throws, I had a feeling he was gonna make em when he stepped up to the line. It looked like he wanted it, he had the desire to shut up the arena in clutch time making all 3 of his.

His 7 reb 7 asst were equally sexy.

Hopefully he can continue to improve as each game comes until we have the best player in the league once again.

I like his team mac shoes, they are pretty nice.

but He've got to start shooting the ball with some arc. He has always had a flat shots. Lately, it is like he is shooting down the ball.

If he can't make his shots, the defense won't bite his pump fakes, and he can't get to the basket. He also doesn't look quick, and he is not strong like snyder who can just bulldoze his way to the basket.

The good thing is I am sure tmac is aware of his problem. I think he will be in form in december.

I don't see the elevation on his shot, I just don't. Without that elevation, he will continue to struggle badly on his shooting.

You can't just re-invent your shot overnight.

Of course, all this is IMO...
