Cut the 2 least productive players on the roster, Francis and Strawberry.

I'd take Strawberry. But then again, like you guys said, doesn't really matter since neither of the 3 are getting playing time.

I'm scared because I haven't heard anything new about Mutombo

completely unrealistic. You can't cut Francis cause his contract will still counts towards luxury tax. The best you can hope for is that he steps up or somehow trade him.

Head will not be cut either, there is a high possibility he will be traded.

The last spot will be a toss-up between Wafer, Strawberry, and Harris. I say keep Harris and get rid of Wafer and Strawberry. You want to keep the most efficient player of the three. No point in keeping scrubs like Wafer and Strawberry just because of depth.

Strawberry has no jump shots. His defense is also overrated.

Head is a guaranteed contract. Cutting him would just be plain silly.

I think he'll stay until the trade deadline. Hopefully we can get a second rounder... or something.

If we want to keep Deke and stay under the luxury tax, chances are we're going to have to stick with a 14 man roster.

    That being said, keep Wafer.

Sorry, Harris. Thanks for the autographed shirt, though.

I hope they keep Harris. He's coming along nicely. Are the others (Strawberry & Wafer) gonna get on the court?

No reason to trade or cut Head to make room for lesser players.

I think DJ and Von'll be cut. Head and Harris are most probably not going to be cut, and Deke and Francis'll be coming back taking 2 more spots. So that would probably consume all the spots, leaving no room for DJ and Von. Besides, every other position is set and taken care of with the other plays we have anyway.

The Rockets have only played four games, and each of the players in question (Head, Strawberry, Wafer) have played only three. However, for those who are saying Wafer has any sort of offensive prowess based on what we've seen these three games, I had to do this:

    Head: 68 minutes, 21pts with 13FGA, 2-4 3PT
    Strawberry: 43 minutes, 18pts with 12FGA, 0-3 3PT
    Wafer: 64 minutes, 25pts with 24FGA, 3-9 3PT

Wafer's had some nice finishes at the rim, but he hasn't been a better scorer in the preseason than either Strawberry or Head. And he doesn't play defense either. I'm not supporting either Strawberry or Wafer, but if I had to choose between the two, Strawberry has fulfilled the role asked of him better. In the end, I bet all of them are cut (including Harris) and we're left with 13 players, 14 if we can add Deke.

strawberry has a decent chance of improving under the tutelege of t-mac, artest, battier. i think he has the potential and he is a good defender. maybe he can turn into what griffin could have been had he not had the domestic issues.

Wafer did made a couple 3s during the Thunder game...so what did you mean he's bricking. I think both are capable...but i like Wafer shooting. I like Strawberry driving but Wafer can do that too as demonstrate by his drive and dunk during Celtics' game.

9-24 shooting for Wafer. Not very good. Just for comparison, Strawberry is 5-12 thus far and head is 8-13.

How much is Francis payed compared to Wafer/Strawberry? Who has the guaranteed contract? How dumb is cutting Francis as oppose to trading his expiring contract?

Its not the end of the world for these players when they get cut. We can always bring them back later in the season.
