Maybe it was just me, but it didn't seem like Glen touched the ball very much. I kinda felt bad for him. Overall, though, the ball movement was an improvement.

Maybe because he sucks!!! He was 0-3 from the 3 point line. His is way past his prime! Why not play Nachbar and let him learn since he is the future?

Give it a rest guys, he is coming back from a serious injury. Give him some time and he will come back. He probably wont start, but will be a very solid contributor off the bench.

I don't have any complaints about Rice, but I have to tell ya' that he could be the slowest man on earth. Poor Rice........he tried to dunk tonight, didn't happen. Then again, Cato had 3 or 4 of his shots blocked tonight too. Golden State is tough to play inside.

Rice came in here last year and couldn't hit a shot before he was hurt. So far this season he still can't hit a shot. You do forget how to shoot when your body breaks down.

Right now Rice is shooting 18% from the field. I hope Tmo comes back soon. At least if he shoots 18%, he can still guard somebody.

Again, there is no other system in the league where a player is expected to stay at the 3pt line and wait. Mix it up for the man. Get him a few layups, some easy plays. Bottomline is that he is looking pretty good and those shots will fall. When they do, put another 10% on the team's current winning %.

I'm dissapointed with his 1-6 shooting overall and 0-3 from the 3-pt line. We NEED his long range shooting.

Last night Rice had one layup blocked because he could not get any elevation when he went up for the shot. Against Seattle he was standing wide open in the paint with nothing between him and the goal but air and oppertunity and he fumbled a sweet pass from Yao Ming. Rice is suppose to be able to nail the open three and has consistantly missed them the last 2 years. Regardless of why he has not played well at all in a Rockets uniform.

BTW you say he is looking pretty good. I have to ask, At what? Exactly what has Rice looked good at during any point as a Rocket? Maybe he will come around but he has looked awefull as a Rocket.

He started showing the old guy syndrome. Pay attention to his over-sweating. He sweated even before he got into court. It takes less than 2 minutes playing to completely exhaust him. This is really bad.

AS soon as Nachbar is healed Rudy T should try to bring him into the Game and let him (nachbar),Morris and Rice earn their playing time. No gifts to big money earners,if you score, assist and play defence, these should be the main criteria.

They didn't get Glen Rice for his defense. Get him the ball and let him shoot it. Proving/knowing whether Rice can hit the shots is infinitely better than speculating.

I would rather see Glen Rice sink or swim based upon his own abilities rather than the subject remain in some ongoing perpetual limbo which does no one any good.

Give him the ball...the Rox are deep enough and diverse enough to handle the outcome if Rice can't cut it any longer.

Before the game, Rice spent half an hour or so hitting 3's from both sides & around the top. It was shot after shot without a break & he hit 80% of them. I was really surprised he didn't shoot better in the game!

He was hurt when he got here... real bad.

He will break out just like EG and KT did. It will be Portland or the next game. Don't expect MT to do any better. It will take him several games as well. This isn't your buddies down at the playground. It takes time to shake off the rust and excel at this level. Ask Yao Ming...

okay, he's 0-3 from the downtown so he automatically sucks.

so if stevie went 0-3 from the 3 point line. he would suck too huh?

Rice has been singularly unimpressive in his games this year and overall last year. He wasn't so hot in his last year in New York. He's this year's version of Walt Williams, except a young Rice was never compared to Magic like Walt.

That's because people were comparing other players to Rice... Lest you forget Rice was once unstopable and once an MVP candidate... I am not saying he is that now are even if he will ever be anything close to that but Healthy young Walt was never as good as a healthy Young Glen Rice... Never

Whenever Rice got it he missed. He got plenty of touches.
