Because our PG can't shoot and other teams know that and pack the paint, and leave the 3pt shot wide open.

It is what they want us to take....with AB, they have to rethink that strategy because he makes so many of them.

I dunno bout you but 9 out of 23 is 39% and that is not a bad percentage for three pointers.

Do you know what would be a great way to raise that percentage? Shoot less threes!

Maybe now some people understand a little bit better.

It is not the shot, it is the missing of the shots.

Right now it is pretty simple, we make our 3s we are in the game and maybe win it.

If we miss them we lose.

Take the 3, make the 3.

Live by the 3, die by the 3.

One reason Lebron is special, is that he can get what he wants, when he wants, at the rim.

Until we have a player like that, we will not win a championship.

It can be a big man, or an elite guard. We have neither.

Aaron Brooks is the best we have...and agreed he is not on Lebron's level.

But then....Lebron is not doing so well this year either.

    ;)

And yes, right now we live and die by the 3 ball.

    AGAIN?

Scola is FAR BETTER than Brooks, and yet you insist Brooks is better? why YOUR OPINION is more important than any Efficiency rating, per rating or even the opinion of Morey and Adelaman (said in public that Scola was playoffs MVP the time Rockets made the Lakers go into the 7th game to win)....?

In the former post, you left my question unanswered, and now you insist that Brooks is the best?

what are the FACTS to back up your point? do you have something else besides you PERSONAL OPINION?

We are talking about a guy that can create a good shot, either for himself or others.

Not who is the better player in general, just who is the most needed.

Did you watch the game against the Lakers? despite far from having a stellar game, Scola had a +20, and showed how he can create oportunities for others when double teamed....what else do you want from a PF?

Did you watch the game against Spurs? after MArtin and Brooks got injured?

Did you watch how he had a +23 against he Bulls, and the Rcokets lost the game in the other 11 minutes with a -26?

If that players isn't needed, who is the needed one? when the 'most needed' Brooks had a +20 against a team, and the rest of the team lost the game without him? care to show us?

Look, you are not going to get me to argue with you, I love Scola, have liked him since before he even came to the NBA.

I think he is the heart and soul of the team, the guy that forces everyone else to play harder due to his contantly working.

We need him out there, I didn't want Bosh because of him......

So, I loves me some Scola.

We were talking about something else.....entirely.

If that makes you feel better, then go with it.

Hey DD, i get what you ae saying, but Dartherus does have a point. Brooks is one of the best on the tem, but Lowry has been running the show well since he has been out. Showing that Brooks isn't really needed.

I love me some Brooks and some Scola, but it will be very tough to impossible to keep them both when we try to grab that superstar, through tanking or trade. They are good enough to make us average, which is exactly where we would rather not be.

Lowry has been ok, his problems arise when our guys are not hitting shots, you need Brooks on those days to add another shooter.

And one thing that has been exposed is Kyle's alleged great defending, he is a decent defender but not great by any stretch.

Either way, you are known for leaping from one end to the other after every game....

Just stick with what Rick and DM want to do, if they decide to stick with Kyle over AB, fine by me.

Kyle may not be a great defender, but he is 2 times the defender that Brooks is.

That is either underating Kyle or overating Aaron, you decide.
