A lot of people forget how big Thibs was on the 2008 Celtics team coaching staff. He was pretty much the reason they won it all that year, that defense was historically great and it suffocated anyone who played the Celtics.

Isn't that essentially the same thing JVG did to us?

Regular season warriors, and they go down like flies in the playoffs.

Realistically, no I don't think it can ever win, you need to spend significant periods in cruise control because the season is just too damn long and arduous otherwise.

That's a silly quote from LeBron. Regardless whether he flopped on this play (probably a little bit), he has flopped plenty of times before. He has absolutely nothing positive to gain by denying this when it's all on youtube.

And what does he mean when he says he has the same response as when people said he was overrated?

That happend you're right but who cares how many days off Miami had had prior to the game or how many leads Nets lost.

This team is playing without their MVP, without best wing defender, without best perimeter defender and with a top 10 center hurt. Those are facts you can't deny.

With that going on they are supposed to be swept in every series, which is why Tom is a phenomenal coach.

Yes, Thibs would have been a great coach for the Rockets. Adelman was a great coach for the Rockets. I'm not real sure it matters. We didn't win a championship with McGrady/Yao because the players' bodies broke down. It's not like things would have turned out differently if we had a different coach.
