Almost forgot this was going on this week. :(

    NeoGAF summary page so far:
    http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=338078
New (seemingly bad) JRPG for the PS3 called Demon's Soul, new Banjo stuff for the 360, new Last Remnant trailer, new RE5 trailer, No More Hereos 2 trailer, Ninja Blade walkthrough, and a few other things so far. Not mentioned maybe because it was just briefly mentioned in a video, but it looks like Tekken 6: Blood Revolution (basically an expansion for Tekken 6 that will also become the console version) will come out in Fall 2009 on the PS3...and 360. I'm too lazy to grab the link, but I'm sure we'll have more articles on this later since I'm sure T6 will be on display in the next 3 days or so. Then again, it was put in a video somewhat nonchalantly, so maybe Namco-Bandai thought we knew already.

Microsoft will have conference in about 10-20 minutes I believe. To be honest, I'm not really sure what the schedule is for everyone else. I'm pretty sure Sony has one, but I don't know when. Not sure about Nintendo, but it isn't like they really need one (lots of Wii/DS games on display even w/o them).

TGS should hopefully be good for JRPG fans. Star Ocean 4 should be on display (in fact the site just went up it seems, releasing 2/19 apparently), and IIRC, gameplay of FF13 and possibly Versus will be shown. More of a minor thing, but I think all the characters for Final Fantasy Dissidia will be shown...which actually looks pretty cool if you haven't seen it in a while:
    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Nk3uGn_imLs&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Nk3uGn_imLs&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Level 5 will probably show a lot of White Knight Chronicles. In fact, they've already given some more details about it recently (thanks to rykomatsu at NeoGAF):
Supposed to be 100+ hrs, 1080p (I think?), awesome and all that good stuff.

Probably a few others I'm missing too, besides other handheld games (DQIX, Agito, Parasite Eve 3, KH games, etc.). Hopefully some more unannounced stuff, although hopefully better than Demon's Soul (at least judging from early impressions).

MS finished the press conference a little while ago. A few nice announcements, although nothing too surprising (thanks to the T6 leak, although even that probably wouldn't have been too surprising).

Halo 3 Recon was announced and will be released Fall 2009 IIRC. I think a trailer is available. 99 Nights 2 was announced...although I don't really know why. To clarify on what I said earlier, SO4 will appear in NA on March 3rd (2-19 in the JP release). Some XBLA stuff (Metal Slug 7, Arkanoid Live, Space Invaders Extreme, R-Type: Dimensions and KoF '98). Might be forgetting a few things, but I think that was the gist of it.

    (Minor) Square Enix stuff:
FF Versus XIII character names revealed: The prince is called Noctis, and the heroine is Stella. The rest of the characters for Dissidia are Butz, Exdeath, Tina, Cloud, Chaos, and Cosmos (not really any surprises). Kingdom Hearts DS will be out (in Japan?) in February 2009. And apparently, realtime video of Parasite Eve 3 was shown, and it looks good (although no idea if it plays good).

Still no clue on when the Sony conference (or conferences?) will start.

Do you always skip the important Xbox Stuff?

11:23PM ET – He's got a surprise announcement. Another legendary franchise into the Xbox 360 family! Tekken 6 is available at launch on Xbox 360! Says the game will launch in Fall 2009. A great lineup for fans of all sorts of Japanese game genres.

I know people who bought a ps3 just for Tekken, so this is actually big news even though I don't like Tekken.

Yeah, I definitely didn't skip the news about Tekken 6, although I did gloss over it in my 2nd post about Microsoft's conferences since I basically mentioned the news in my first post. It is somewhat big news, although like I implied, not really surprising given the circumstances (think I said earlier in the the year that if Namco-Bandai remained silent about the game, it was probably because they were deciding to port the game to the 360).

Just woke up and I think Sony had their conference (or one of them anyway). Apparently another boring one with not much new stuff.

edit: Oh yeah, forgot to mention that a new Castlevania game for the 360/PS3 was announced.

    Halo 3 Recon Trailer

Guess MS was telling the truth when they said they would like a Gears and Halo game to come out every alternate year. I'd be down with that!
