werent they at a finals game together a few years ago when they both didnt make the playoffs?(i think i remember the announcer saying they wish they were playing not watching and they laffed about it) are they buddies or do you think the trade will make them not cool with each other? i'd like to think not,but you never know.

Why would the trade have any affect on their friendship?

If T-Mac excels where Francis "failed", or if Francis enjoys success in Orlando while Houston's shallow bench dooms us to a season of .500 basketball, it'd be very easy to see how their friendship could be adversely affected.

It's just a battle of egos.

Who will do the best with their new team?

Both are set up to either have tremendous success, or outstanding failure.

It was not a Finals game. It was Game 2 of the Kings-Lakers semifinals series in 2001 (at Staples) when TNT showed them sitting next to each other in the seats.

yes, I have this game on tape, would not have known this if I didnt
