There is no way I could ever disagree with you more. Go back and rewatch the games Brooks started. We were averaging 110 points.

First of all, Tracy is way way to slow to organize the offense. I mean, by saying:"Play Mcgrady at PG." Do you mean, just giving him the ball an ask him to stand outside the arc and just pass the ball and stand like a pole? Because he has done that the past games, thats why he is getting so much assists, and thats his way of becoming a "facilitator" for the team.

Secondly, what people need from a PG, and you can see that on all the best PG's in the league (Parker, Paul, Nash,...) is speed and penetration. Your going to need a guy, who's going to go to the rack, and pass to the outside man. Now I certainly don't see Tracy doing that. He doesn't have the speed, he doesn't have to strenght anymore, he certainly doesn't have the will, orelse he would be going that at the 2 right now.

We don't need a guy who stays behind the arc and jack's 3's. We need a guy who can take it to the rim.

Tmac will slow the offense down, thats a no-brainer.

As of examples, just look at last year, around December, Tracy was playing at PG, he was slowing the offense, we had no ball movement. Then he went out for a couple of games and we were playing well. Most reporters said:"We hope that when Tracy comes back he will not disrupt the offensive flow".

    Voila.

I honestly think that TMac doesn't want to play basketball anymore; I am not sure that he is fully aware of this. If his contract had been over at the end of last season, I think he would have retired, but $40 + million is a bit much to walk away from, so he has simply "retired" and continues to "play." That works for him, just not the Rockets.

Its what some said this summer. Tracy is the pg. He runs the offense, sets the tempo and everything. That's why its crap when people talk about rafer running the oofense. Rafer on the court at the same time as Tracy is wasting Tracy and Rafer. Rafer works best with the ball, even though he does nothing with it. Tracy works best with the ball because he's the best playmaker/decsion maker on the team. Pair him with Brooks or like I said this summer, gordon or mo williams, and now you have what you need to stay out of scoring droughts. I'm not as crazy as people say.
